Class Action

Artists Band Together As Toon Empire Expands

By Joey Nathan

After decades of publishing some of the hottest gay erotic ’toons, artist Patrick Fillion is expanding his comic publishing company with new artists, new titles and a whole line-up of new -- and naked -- characters.

Patrick is best known for his own original cast of gay characters, including the insatiable Camili-Cat (now celebrating 20 years in print), the hunky and hung Naked Justice, and the callboys of Satisfaction Guaranteed. This past year, he expanded Class Comics with five new artists and a total of 10 titles.

“Patrick has always had a dream of having a comic company,” said Fraser “Fraz” Mount, Patrick’s partner. “We realized that we would have to either share the Class Comics Universe with other talented artists, or lease the rights to put new books out more frequently. In the end we have done both, and have grown from the decision.”

The new line of comics features barely-dressed super heroes, ripped ghouls, horny sci-fi explorers, muscular jocks, leather-clad demons, husky bears, and everything in between. There are even a few hot chicks in the line-up.

“I hope Class Comics readers enjoy looking at my drawings as much as I enjoy making them,” said Spubba, who has illustrated for the Rapture and Deimos series.

Several comics are coming this summer, so check out the ever-expanding titles at www.classcomics.com or stop by your local adult bookstore.

“Working with Class Comics has been such a great ride,” said artist HvH. “They are gentle, relentless and probably unknowingly setting references of a much more happy and strong stand in life for every gay man and woman.”
